Our Story

Created by a mom on the move.

Pump to Plane was born somewhere between motherhood, business travel, airport security lines, and a breast pump.

I'm a mom of two with a career in sales that has me traveling regularly. When I began traveling while pumping, I quickly learned that getting from pump to plane wasn't always as simple as it should be.

I've had the tearful moments at TSA trying to understand what was allowed and arguing with staff on the protection of my milk. I've stood at the gate overwhelmed while being told my pumping supplies meant I had too many bags. I've even sat on a plane realizing my breast milk cooler was leaking because in the hustle and bustle of travel, I forgot the right equipment. And yes, I have had to pump on a plane thousands of miles in the air.

There were trips when I felt prepared for the meeting, the presentation, and the work ahead—but completely unprepared for everything that came with traveling as a pumping mom.

And I kept thinking: there has to be an easier way.

So I created Pump to Plane.

Our travel essentials are designed to put the information pumping moms need right at their fingertips—from understanding TSA guidance to remembering the little things that are surprisingly easy to forget when you're packing for both work and motherhood.

My hope is simple: that another mom can walk into the airport feeling a little more prepared, a little more confident, and a lot less alone in figuring it all out.

Because becoming a mom doesn't mean you stop going places.

Em Davis
